Has anyone done on stage seating for the OOTI tour yet? I havent been able to find any info about it. Im sitting there tomorrow and going with my boyfriend, totally forgetting he HATES cast interaction. What is it like? Will he be safe? Haha
I sat onstage twice in Hershey. Basically, it’s first come first serve for seating but they have a method. They fill the 5 seats on stage left first which is where we sat both times. Only two rows over there both are good. I would assume stage right you would be more “safe” but those seats can be rear views or you could be seated behind the tree which would be awful. I recommend getting there early and getting one of the stage left seats. The interactions we got were minor and probably because we were so into it. 95 percent of them happened in the preshow. A smile and nod would have been enough to respond back. Definitely sit in the more downstage seat yourself because that’s where most of the during the show looks and comments are directed. Very special experience. I have heard the seating process in terms of stage left first etc is the same across all cities.
how are the sightlynes for the onstage seating if you get a "good" seat?
I found it to be fantastic. Not too far from seeing the original.

My two friends and I sat on-stage in Dayton. They suggested arriving early for on-stage seating but after a long bar line and bathroom, we ended up being the last three people with on-stage seats to arrive. Luckily for us, the bench dead center stage was open and they sat us there. Literally dead center on-stage, facing the audience. Lots of cast interaction and lots of spotlight time. It was incredible.

Beyond excited for June for this! Got tix as soon as they went on sale. I’m a bit concerned because it will be my first time seeing the show (professionally at least) so I don’t know if it’ll be the best option.
