Once on Broadway

Posted: 3/15/12 at 11:27amLoved the preshow and I enjoyed each of the characterizations. I enjoyed about half of the score but had to fight falling asleep, even though I had 3rd row aisle. I also found it hard to care much. Eh! On to the next show...

Posted: 3/15/12 at 6:57pmSaw this on Sunday, still processing it. Extremely beautiful, terribly moving, completely theatrical. Every single facet of this production worked so well, right down to Natasha Katz’s lighting design. Stephen Hoggett’s movement and the orchestrations truly made this a kinetic and exposed the beating heart in this show. The relationship between Guy and Girl hit me like a train as the reprise of Falling Slowly began. Very cathartic, a gem in the theatre I’ll always hold close to my heart.

LOVED this show at NYTW, in case that wasn't evident. And just got a ticket through Telecharge for Opening Night on Sunday. So pumped! My first time attending an opening night on Broadway.
Has anyone sat in the back of the mezzanine at the Jacobs? How is the view?
