I went this morning, January 5, and I got there about 9:50. They sold out of the Rush and SRO about 5 people in front of me. The line was to the Schoenfeld Theatre when I arrived.
It was a two show day, so they had double the tickets.
I would guess if I would have arrived about 9:15 I would have got tickets

I rush across the street and the line starts to fill around 7 am to 8 am on weekdays a little earlier on weekends. Check
Broadway Spotted Rush Report.

Thanks for the heads up, brdway411.
For those who want know about rush: I rushed Once this past Saturday (8/9). I meant to get there at 9 AM, but did not make it till about 9:25 because of traffic. I was about 20th in line or so, and got the last two rush tickets for the matinee show. So I would definitely still get there a bit earlier if anyone wants to rush a weekend show. The seats I got were in the boxes. My view was pretty obstructed because my seat sitting in the box - I would say I could see about 40% of the show, so I moved during Intermission to the Mezzanine for a much better view. Loved the show, it was beautiful, and the cast was amazing! Now I wish I had seen all of Act I - I missed seeing Guy and Girl during the entire song of "Gold," so that was kind of disappointing. I might go back and buy a better seat.
