Muscle, The Wedding Singer doesn't make people happy, some of us came out of it with a big headache, almost crying for those two hours of our lives we won't be getting back...
Back on topic, best performer currently performing on Broadway:

I am a firm believer in serendipity- all the random pieces coming together in one wonderful moment, when suddenly you see what their purpose was all along.

TAHAHAH, I just got the whole Raúl Cerveris thing :P god I'm so slow lolol. (its cause I really dont know anything about michael cerveris so I wasnt sure if he like had a brother or something haha)

FoscasBohemianDream, I guess everyone just had their different tastes haha... I just personally cannot see how anyone wouldn't enjoy wedding singer, but thats just me

its funny that a lot of people on here seem not to like it though, because when I went the audience seemed INCREDIBLY enthusiastic and loving of it. I guess thats probably cause at this point the people who didn't like it aren't coming back and the people who did like it are coming back, but still haha. Anyway, sorry for the off topicness!

I don't need a life that's normal. That's way too far away. But something next to normal would be okay. Something next to normal is what I'd like to try. Close enough to normal to get by.

Out of those currently performing, my first thought was Patti LuPone. If we are talking about one performer ever to grace Broadway, my vote goes to Ethel Merman.

Okay I am new to the boards but I am going to have to comment on this, I am a little surprised that Idina Menzel and Sherie Rene Scott were not mentioned a little more here. These two keep me coming back to broadway over and over. But I totally understand Sutton Foster, she is a powerhouse performer!

I made a list of all your faults, it was quite detailed and lengthy too and when I read it through I missed you. Your like a classic Eagles song, you just cant help but sing along even though it sometimes gets annoying too. i think the strongest singer/dancer/actor that i am aware of is amy spanger. but does her combo of talents outrank the peerless luminosity of cherry jones, or someone who only does one thing?

I've seen her in Kiss Me Kate and The Wedding Singer and, in my opinion, she doesn't do any of those things very well. In another era, she'd would have been lucky to get a spot in the 3rd row of the chorus
