Name ONE beautiful or unforgettable song from a forgotten musical.
Mine is "Little Lost Girl" sung by Maureen O'Hara in "Christine

"How I Am" from Little Women, "Alone in the Universe" from Suessical, and I'm sure several songs will go down in the books from Glory Days, though I doubt that will be forgotten.

If I were to pick a song from Little Women, How I Am would definitely not be it. I would choose probably Days of Plenty. Astonishing, Some Things Are Meant to Be, and Fire Within Me are all better than How I Am.

I have a list of these. My wife and I did a topic for XM's Daily Special Feature last year called "The Song Is More Famous Than the Show."
Here is one that wasn't on our list -- although it will be in Chapter 2 if and when we submit it:
"Here's That Rainy Day" from "Carnival in Flanders"
(One of my mother's favorite songs, BTW.)

Here is the list for "The Song Is More Famous Than the Show". Not all the shows are obscure, but the songs are definitely better known than the shows:

"Love Makes the World Go Round" (Carnival!)
