Opinions on touring shows please?

I just bought a single Broadway Across America season subscription (so that I’d have a better chance at scoring Hamilton tickets locally next season) and my husband and I are going to alternate going to see the shows (didn’t want to deal with finding a babysitter on 5 random Tuesdays).

I’d like it if both of us got to see something really great, so if you could please rank the following based on which is your favorite/which ones have great touring productions that would be very helpful. (Ideally there will be a ranking consensus here and one of us can see #s 1, 4, 5 and the other can see #2 and #3 or something similarly fair.)

The King and I tour is not to be missed. You both should go see that one.

My personal preferences

A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder (My favorite, but I knocked down as it's not everyone's)
Finding Neverland ( I found it more charming at the ART, then on b'way)
An American in Paris (Unless you are a BIIIG dance fan)

School of Rock (Just not my cup of tea)

1. The King And I. Just glorious.

2. An American In Paris. A dance-and-song [in that order] valentine.

3. School Of Rock. Those talented darned kids!

4. Finding Neverland. Edited considerably for touring [songs/scenes/characters]. For the better.

5. A Gentleman's Guide. Too twee for me. Left after the first act on Broadway, but made it through

both acts of the touring production.

I’ve heard LMK will be taking off four months of the tour soon and Heather will be in her place. Just thought i’d share if that’s of any importance to you
