Found this pic tonight and wanted to share.
I had seen it once, with Dean Jones, at a Saturday matinee, and loved it.
When I heard Bobby was now going to be played by Larry Kert, from the RECORD of West Side Story (there were no tapes or CDs yet...maybe there were 8-tracks), I got so excited that I went the next Saturday.
Larry was even better..

He's so dreamy in that picture.

Everyone should read this book- a wonderful story about a young man coming to New York and meeting Larry Kert during the run of Company.
I love that book.
He WAS dreamy. Listen (and look) and the way his voice cracks a little on the final "never come again":

So sexy.
Anything would be better than Jones' braying.
Also, love the very personal and insistent note. "Undoubtably" You never see stuff like that.
