After last year's make out session between Marc Shaiman and Scott Wittman I don't think anything shocks Tony audiences anymore. As for political figures watching, that's a laugh. There are a lot of political figures in this country and the Tony awards is always the lowest rated show of the entire year, so obviously, they're not watching. Which is strange because a lot of political figures are probably closeted homosexuals. And having a 3 1/2 minute time limit is just ridiculously stupid. Perhaps they would get more viewers if they showed more of the shows and less of us having to sit through those God forsaken acceptance speeches. If I ran the world, the winner would be announced and that's it. If I have to sit through another five minutes of some undeserving hack thank every person they've ever met in their life I think I'm going to hang myself...

And what the hell is up with the bull that the presenters read off the TelePrompTers??? The jokes aren't even funny. They don't even deserve to be called jokes. It's awful, not to mention mortifying for anyone having to read that sh*t. And WE have to sit through it, and pretend to laugh... the entire awards show genre needs to be revamped. It's been put off for years, and I can't take it anymore....

I wonder if they'll have a five-second delay this year, just in case Kristin tries to undo Idina's top and expose her nipple...
