Looking at last years results, the Tony winners in both Male and Female Featured in a Musical didn't receive Drama Desk noms, so I guess they aren't all that predictable.

I recognize the addiction to being alive.

The OCC are so erratic every year. I am a little suprised at some of TCP snubs--they nominated a weak(er) score, but snubbed Brian McDevitt's always-brilliant lights, the costumes, and Felicia Fields. Visually, this show is one of the more sublimely beautiful to look at. But I guess that campy, cartoonish work like Pajama Game and DC always seem to please OCC nominators.

I also cannot believe that Maria Friedman, who was the best thing about WIW, was left out, when there were set and light nominations--seems like a huge waste.

I haven't seen either Sweeney Todd or Pajama Game, but from what everyone has been saying, it seems like Sweeney Todd is better than Pajama Game. Why is it that Pajma Game got 8 nominations and Sweeney Todd only 5? has anyone else think that is weird?

You must remember all the same that at the crux of every game is knowing when it's time to leave the table... And it's important to be artful in your exit. No turning back, you must accept the con is done... It was a ball, it was a blast. And it's a shame it couldn't last. But every chapter has to end, you must agree.

SWEENEY didn't get the multiple acting nominations PJ got, but it's also a show with minimal staging and design - so it's not expected to get nominations for things like costumes, set and choreography....

Surprised the worthy Manoel Felciano, Maria Friedman and Felicia P. Fields were overlooked.

The Outer Critics have always been a little off. However, thrilled Gabriel Byrne was remembered for his superb work in A TOUCH OF THE POET.

The lighting for WIW IMO was excellent!

I'm shocked Maria F. didn't get at least a nod!

I was really happy with all the Sweeney nods, I just don't understand why Manoel isn't being recognized. He was fantastic
