I can't confirm any details I don't subscribe to Variety where the article is reported from.($$$) Rob, any chance we can pull it here?

Outkast puts on such a great show, they both have amazing stage presence and charisma!

It's a screen musical, directed by the guy who did their videos, and Hinton Batttle will be doing the choreography.

Pass me the arsenic. At least it isn't on stage. Is it just me, or has anyone else heard "Roses" one time too many. That would have been the case for me had I only heard it once. Sadly, I've heard it many times. They do have some good material. The thought of OutKast in a musical really makes me nauseous. It doesn't make me as nauseated as "Fight Club: The Musical" though. That one just twists my stomach.

*runs to nearest toilet* You people are not making my life easy. Why must you bring up such nauseating subjects? I thought that I could just forget about all those MTV "musicals". Why must they be regurgitated? Why? Why?? WHY???

I nearly had a heart attack when I read the subject of this thread. As long as it's not on stage, I'm ok. But it is a little scary, either way. I really don't like Outkast at all.

Most other hip-hoppers might make me nervous, but for some reason outKast doesn't scare me. They are very versatile and I think it would definately be an interesting show to say the least.
You, you are the worst thing to happen to musical theater since Andrew Lloyd Webber... and you I just don't like you.

I never watch MTV, so I've never seen any of them. Did anyone expect them to be good?

OH! I remember Carmen: A Hip Hopera! That was not good.

In case anyone had any doubts, HBO cares much more about the bottom line than about quality. Despite what they trumpet to the contrary. At least MTV doesn't pretend to be what they're not.

I really can't see Andre 3000 playing a non-psychotic role. I really can't see it.

Andre 3000 and "RENT" should not be in the same sentence.
Andre 3000 and "Broadway" should not be in the same sentence.
But they just were, and they should never again!

Don't speak too soon, BroadwayDiva.
Raisin in the Sun just recouped its initial investment.

~ff~ - that's something scary to think about. OutKast on Broadway? That's not something that should happen. Andre 3000 scares me, actually.

He is a bit of a scary man.
Hmm...
Who else could we get...
Nelly?
No, the band-aid wouldn't work.
The Black Eyed Peas?
Not sure the short skirts and funky dancing would fit into a drama.
Oh wait!
How about Prince?
He'd be brilliant in a comedy, as long as you told him it was a drama.
