Overasked questions

I don't know how you guys would feel about this, but I'd give it a try. There are obviously questions, at different times that seem to be asked over and over. I figured I'd start putting some answers to some of them here, and you guys can add. Even if we don't keep the thread bumped so much, when the questions start getting add, we can at least tell them to search for this title. Okay, so here's a couple that I have answers to:

The Rent movie is currently scheduled to be released November 11 in theaters.

The Rent movie is done filming in New York, and is now shooting in San Francisco.

All posters here do not necessarily hate Wicked, some may heavily dislike it, but mostly it seems that way because for a time there were many Wicked fans who some will say "shoved it down their throats" so that lead to a backlash to the show. Actually at this point it has died down quite a bit. And for the record, I am not one of those crazy Wicked fans(I have friends here that can attest to that).

Umm, can someone provide a link to Talkin Broadway's rush/SRO policies? That gets asked a lot.

Those are the ones I can think of off the top of my head. If anyone can think of others, please feel free to add them here.

re: Overasked questions

i think the most overasked question on this board is:

What is the difference between Standby and Understudy. (Im guessing the people who ask this have recently seen wicked, and notcied that there is a standby AND and an understudy for both glinda and elphaba)....just a guess of coarse....but I know im right.

re: Overasked questions

Hmmmm, I thing that wickedrentq is on to something. We could ask Rob to add a Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) section! When someone asks the understudy/standby question or wonders how a show can be reviewed before opening night, we just send them to the FAQ page. I like it!

"Do you know ChrisLovesShows?" "Yes. Why, yes he does!"

re: Overasked questions

There's a difference between those other threads and this one, at least from what I can tell. I'm not starting a thread just talking about what's asked most on this board, and I wasn't necessarily referring to a lot of those kinds of questions, since they're all opinion-based, but ones like I put in my original post that have a definitive a factual nswer and lately have been asked a lot.

ChrisLovesShows, the FAQ page is a great idea, maybe we all could submit questions/answers for it too.

re: Overasked questions

By posting these threads, people are just making those questions appear more often. Isn't it the point not to?
