Who is your least favorite overrated star? Mine is Idina Menzel. She's been getting all this hype and while she is good, there are people a lot better than her on Broadway right now.

Crazy4MattMorrison-I don't know many people who think she's overrated (I'm a huge fan) so I'm curious to know-why do you?

well im just not really a fan of hers. i saw her in both millie and little women and i didnt like either. but i did think she was the only good thing in both shows . but i dont think shes as amazing as most people say she is. and she could be a little nicer

I'm sorry, he just doesn't do a lot for me. Not on the Chicago recording, the Wicked recording, the Cabaret movie and the Fantasticks movie, at least.

She could be nicer? I've met her twice and she's been so nice! One time I met her in rehearsal and we actually had full conversations in which she would talk, it wasn't just me blabbering. The second time I met her, she knew who I was and we got to talk again. She's never been anything but nice!

By the way, it sounds mean but my above statements were not meant to sound rude, offensive or mean.

That is interesting...Sutton is one of the nicest people I have ever met. She is really sweet and accomodating. I don't think she is overrated at all; she deserves every ounce of praise she gets.

Exactly. I don't think overrated means untalented. Idina M. is definetly talented but even more overrated, especially on here.

I have a few to second - Michael Crawford, Shoshana Bean, and Nathan Lane

And a few to add (and i will also be ducking projectiles)- Bernadette Peters, Carol Channing (those are two voices i am not very fond of personally)

And honestly, although i did love her voice, i didnt care for Chenoweth's acting in Wicked... BUT having seen her act in other things, i know that she is indeed talented... she just didnt do it for me in Wicked

I understand that statement about Kristin in Wicked. It was so built around her to be goofy etc. But it doesn't matter on the acting part, she rocked in the music part of it.

Munk has good insight... not a suprise
