New Line Cinema announced an exclusive charity auction on eBay featuring costumes and props from Hairspray!
The charity auction runs from July 19-29.
The auction will feature more than 60 items from the film, including:
1. Nikki Blonsky’s sequin dress
2. John Travolta’s purple bathrobe
3. John Travolta’s purple sequin dress
4. Queen Latifah’s green/orange chiffon dress and necklace
5. Amanda Bynes’ green plaid dress
6. Brittany Snow’s polka-dot dress
7. Zac Efron’s navy suit
8. Elijah Kelley’s rust suit
9. James Marsden’s tuxedo
10. Corny’s Top 10 board with 10 songs
The website features video interviews with eBay Style Director Constance White and clips from Hairspray of the actors wearing the various costumes listed.
All proceeds from the charity auction will equally benefit City Meals On Wheels and The Harry Holmberg Memorial Fund. Citymeals On Wheels funds 102 community-based agencies that bring weekend, holiday, emergency and weekday meals to homebound elderly New Yorkers who can no longer shop or cook for themselves. The Harry Holmberg Memorial Fund was established to benefit pediatric palliative care (Holmberg’s father is a New Line employee).

I love all of the new stills!! That is alot of stuff they're selling! That's not a bad amount to start with, $5. The clothes look great!! I want the top 10 board too! :) I wanna see some Velma Von Tussle stuff. They just added another dress of Brittany's! They are probably gonna add more as the day goes on.

It's almost sad to me to see all these outfits go.
I know its dorky- but they just seem so so iconic.
I hope they go to good homes. :)
I haven't yet seen the one item that I MUST have.
An original can of Ultra CLutch would be nice or a Tracy bobble head or Tracy's school pic from "Without Love" something like that.

I find it funny that out of all these beautiful costumes- Zac's "It Takes Two" suit has the highest bid thus far.
Guaranteed that will change- but I do find it funny.
