First person to message me your name and mailing addie, I'll send you the CD."
oh, did you not get a part in the revival?"
Or perhaps something in the story (which deals with both adultery and suicide) hits a little too close to home. No need to be catty about it.

You are right, elephantseye. Quibbler, while I agreed with you on the music, I didn't take this point into account when asking how you couldn't enjoy the musical on the whole. They handle both of those issues so subtly that maybe some of us just see a lighthearted meet-cute romp and not the darker side. Even if those have nothing to do with one's dislike of the show, I shouldn't have even said what I did. Art is subjective and we should all be less judgmental on here.

Loved the filming of ''She Loves Me,'' and bravo to David Horn, the executive producer who also directed it for TV. The shot selections and camera angles were pretty impeccable, capturing the nuances of those wonderful performances and Harnick's witty lyrics. Zachary Levi and Laura Benanti were magic. If anyone missed the PBS broadcast, it's now up on the PBS website, but only until Nov. 3.

I absolutely adored She Loves Me. My family is going to have to pry this from the DVR.

I just finished She Loves Me I loved it too. Laura and Zack had sincerely hilarious chemistry. Jane was a stand out too. Only problem is Michael McGrath wasn't in it. Next I'm seeing Holiday Inn

That's rude. There is likely a very plausible reason for them to not want the show in their life, and also to not want to get into it. For example, I have a friend who is genuinely triggered by a certain musical which I will not name here.
I realize that sometimes snark comes into our heads, but this is one of the times where it's best to just keep it to yourself. You never know how many feelings you may end up hurting, or what memories you could be bringing back, just by snarking at them for it.

It was a pretty attention whorey thing to say. If the person wanted rid of the CD they could have said they had an extra copy they were wiling to send out to the first person who PMed them. The way they phrased it was begging for attention/drama
