I think the Funny Girl art is fabulous. Not understanding the complaints about it.

I have mixed feelings about the Funny Girl cover. I don’t hate it, but I don’t love it.

The Skin of Our Teeth is incredible! LOVE the art and the colors! Also loving That Scottish Play, A Strange Loop, and Funny Girl!

"Interesting" choice from Beetlejuice to complement the striped suit with a striped background.
No surprise from Birthday Candles.
for colored girls who have considered suicide/when the rainbow is enuf looks like that Refinery 29/women's magazine style of art. I don't know if it'll be anymore successful than the Ivo West Side Story revival in trying to draw in the younger demographic it's trying to appeal to.
The Little Prince looks like a good representation of the show.
Mr. Saturday Night doesn't feel like the right artwork for the Playbill. It feels like a placeholder.
POTUS is weird. It takes a while to figure it out. Then you're staring at the front teeth...
Paradise Square is fine. Cheap, but fine.
The Skin of Our Teeth is a surprisingly cool way of representing plot elements but the colors/art style also evoke those cheap paperback editions of classics. Very nicely done.
I'm used to the Playwrights artwork for A Strange Loop but I don't hate this. It's a little YA novel but I do love how it incorporates the Thoughts and all those dynamic poses.

I have no issues with the American Buffalo artwork, but I can't help but miss the buffalo nickel playbill that was released prior to the shutdown.

With all the talk of the Funny Girl art, I've finally realized that aside from Cabaret (and other Kander and Ebb shows), it reminds me of The Cher Show. But that comparison helps highlight what's offputting about the Funny Girl art. If you didn't have two Chers in profile, I would also focus on the weird nose like the choice to go with only nostrils in FG. Cher's dark hair justifies the black background where FG needs the big bow. Unlike the fun pops of color from TCS that create unity, you have that garish yellow, but you don't need the harsh spotlight, even worse with the white face, if you're not using a black background.
