So I went to the Merrily cd signing at Barnes and Noble the other day and they were sold out. So not only could I not buy a cd, I couldn't get it signed by Sondheim and cast.

Now today PS Classics is selling signed copies on their website for almost $80!

What a way to show respect!

What does this have to do with respect?

I'll admit, that's a ridiculous price, but it's not a necessity in life. It's not their fault you couldn't get one yourself. They likely don't have too many signed copies.

They have to make money somehow. They probably won't even break even with this release. Be glad they recorded it at all.

Greed machine? Hardly. If they were greedy, they wouldn't have recorded the show at all. So after reading your post, I ask you the question your name poses, RUkiddingME? Jeez.
