Just got it. PS Classics always does such beautiful work. And that's just the booklet.

The cast and CD sound great.

I love the way McDonald says the word "cage" in OLD MAID. That just gets to me. The emotion and the accent in that one word.

It's why she wins Tonys.

The original to me was serviceable - but look at what was all against 110 when it originally opened.

Audra is amazing as Lizzie.

actually, i find the opposite. the original was SO BORING to me and then when i saw Audra, she just enraptured me. i was bawling through the whole performance. i cannot WAIT for this cd!

do you think itd ruin the show to listen to the cd before i see it?
i see the show in july, and was wondering if i should wait for the cd or not. because i dont wanna ruin the experience or anything :)

i don't think it'd ruin the show because it's MOSTLY a book show but i think you'd enjoy it more if you knew none of the songs. i enjoy MOST shows more when i go to them blindly
