For those who have been recently, did you find this theater cold? I noticed that a post from a few months ago said it was cold in the mezzanine. (I'll be in the orchestra.) I'm just wondering if it's still an issue.
I always layer but want to make sure I bring a sweater that's warm enough. (I take this problem seriously since almost having to leave a performance of the Hadestown tour that was subzero. Thanks, CIBC Theatre Chicago....)
Yes, the theatres are generally fairly cold in the summer, especially in orchestra. Balcony can be quite a bit warmer than orchestra. For all of the shows I saw in June and July, I almost ways had a sport coat on, and I was never warm.
I know BJJ was tinkering with this one up to and through it landing on Broadway, but it's still a little curious that a year later this script still isn't available for licensing or perusal through any of the usual publishing houses yet. Hopefully it will be soon.
