Pajama Game

I'm auditoning for The Pajama Game. I am a tenor and really strong with both comedy and drama. I probably will not get the lead, but what are some good male supporting roles in that show. Thanks a lot!

re: Pajama Game

The show has alot of good roles for men. The comic lead is Hines. I have played that a few times, and its a bari-tenor type range. Theres PREZ which is fun, has songs, but doesnt need a great voice. There are a few others.

I saw it in Baltimore a few years ago at Center Stage, it was a nice production, Since I have a Roundabout subscription, I'll be seeing this. Good luck and hope to see you in the show.

Prez is a great role. I totally wish I were male so I could play it.

GAH

I am the all-knowing entity on things related to "The Pajama Game".

If you're a good tenor, here's absolutley no reason you couldn't be the lead, Sid Sorokin. PM me and i'll give you any details you want.

re: Pajama Game

Sid ventures pretty low during NEW TOWN.... don't have the score in front of me so I can't tell you how low, but I think that there are some tenors who would not be able to do that

re: Pajama Game

Hines is one of the leads, and all that's required of that role is strong, strong comedy.

Sid goes pretty high at a few of the songs.

Prez is one of the supporting roles, if that's what you're after. He's got "Her Is" which, to me, is one of the most annoying songs in Bway history.

I really don't think there are any other sizable male roles.
Question: Will Esparza win for The Homecoming? BobbyBubby: I hope so. If only for the mental health of many people on this board.
