Confirmed on Broadwayworld.com. They should have just let him reprise his role in Dirty Dancing instead. That would have been fun

yes, he is the singer of the big hit "She's like the Wind"
as well as a terrific dancer and actor.

Hee! The Chippendales skit. Genius! It was one of my all-time faves. RIP, Chris. 
I hated "She's Like the Wind"! His voice is just mediocre to me, but to be fair that's all I've ever heard him sing. There's no denying he's one a hell of a dancer. I'm anxious to hear the reviews, and wish him the best.
