By the way...
A poster on one of the phantom sites just went to see the new film "Vanity Fair" and the Phantom of the Opera teaser is attached to it (the same one as before, not a new one.)
Anyhow, if you haven't seen it on a BIG SCREEN yet, this could be your chance.
I saw it in a theatre and wow! It's amazing and it was wonderful to see Patrick up on the big screen.

Posted: 9/1/04 at 10:25pmHooray! I can't wait to see the teaser. That gives me more reason to go see Vanity Fair. I really hope they don't ruin POTO ... I am feeling pretty skeptical about it right now

Posted: 9/1/04 at 11:05pmI expected Emmy to be more powerful. The clip I got just kept pausing so I didn't hear the rest of the song yet.

Posted: 9/1/04 at 11:27pmOkay... Patrick sounds wonderful, as always. It's so great to hear his voice again. He's so talented. As for Emmy, her voice is pretty, but I think that's all I can say for it. I just expected more... for it to be stronger, I guess.

Posted: 9/1/04 at 11:34pmI just saw Vanity Fair today (don't spend the 10 bucks to see it. It drags and the ending is horrible. the acting's great, but, like I said, the ending's AWFUL, STUPID, TERRIBLE!!! And it thinks it's Gone With the Wind at points) and there was no Phantom trailer in the beginning...

I really wanted to see it too--that's why I ran out to see it on the first day. Nope. The ending was laughably bad. I can't get over it. Just... yuck...
And now they're thinking that the lady who directed it might direct the fifth Harry Potter movie. NOOOOOO!!!! If she treats the death of a certain HP character like she treated a certain Vanity Fair character, I will KILL HER!!!!!!!!!!!!

Posted: 9/2/04 at 2:14amNOOOOO. I want the guy who directed the third one. He did such an amazing job. That guy (don't know his name) said he might be back to do the 5th one.

Posted: 9/2/04 at 2:34amAlfonso Curez (sp?) Yeah, I agree. I loved the third one. Sure, it left out some points, but you got the gist of it and that's what we have the books for, right? I just couldn't sit through another sappy Chris Columbus movie if my life depended on it. Those stupid end of the year buffets with everyone running around hugging and happy... Blah. HP's not about happy endings, it's about growing up. And family. And good and evil. And so much more. (Can you tell I'm a Potterhead?)

Posted: 9/2/04 at 10:16amI think they both sound awful. I'm disapointed. They both sounds weak and singing too much in rhythm like a machine.
