but good for Patti! and #10 is pretty high considering who else is on the list.
When I see the phrase "the ____ estate", I imagine a vast mansion in the country full of monocled men and high-collared women receiving letters about productions across the country and doing spit-takes at whatever they contain.

Posted: 6/1/08 at 4:17pmIf they're referring to the Encores run, then The Post is reverting to their usual stance on facts. When I saw Gypsy last summer, I doubt there were more than 50 people total in the entire gallery.

on the other hand, foster has a point: if the president of the united states can bend the truth to make a fake point, why the F can't the new york post do it to make a real one?!?

Posted: 6/2/08 at 12:04pmSaw "Gypsy" Friday night and while I liked it a lot, Miss Patti is one of those performers who constantly teeters on the border of genius and outright ham. She's a real force of nature, but I was just as impressed by Boyd and Laura as I was by her.
