Patti LuPone Concert Being Filmed

I just received an e-mail from the theater where I am seeing Patti's show tomorrow, and in the message it stated that camera crews will be filming the performance for an upcoming HBO special! I hadn't heard of this until now, so it's pretty exciting!

Is it for a stand alone special or the episode of Masterclass that was discussed on the board a few months ago?

The concert is "The Gypsy In My Soul" :)

It only said that it was for an upcoming special, so I'm not sure what it's exactly for.

This thread reminded me, I saw her Patti & Mandy concert in its last week and there were cameras set up in the audience - don't know what purpose the filming was for

I have been dying to see her "Gypsy in my Soul" concert. If this is for HBO I am excited.
