God, Elaine Paige was totally miscast in that role; I'm sorry but she can't compete with Patti, not in this role anyway.

Loved the Patti-Howard video. Such fun reliving one of my favorite theater memories. Fascinating reading the NY Times article from the perspective of twenty-some years later (and Patti's second Tony.
