Patti at Ravinia TONIGHT!!

Went to see Patti in GYPSY at Ravinia tonight. OMG was it fantastic! I was in complete awe at not only Patti, but the entire cast. Definitely quality work. However, Patti shined, like always. Rose is definitely a part I could see her in for run longer than three days. She was phenomenal. I am still gushing in her fantastic performance. She was also amazingly sweet at the stage door. It started out being a gazillion people, but as minutes turned into almost an hour and a half, it dwindled to about 15. She was very sweet, and my cousin gave her a little priest she had found at a party supply store, it was awesome. She LOVED the priest, and was in complete awe. A great nightperformance at Ravinia.

Anyone else go tonight?

Seriously? She didn't come out at the stagedoor when I went for "Anyone Can Whistle" and was a total diva when I saw her come out after "Sweeney Todd."

Aw, blaxx - cut some slack. It's easy to miss stuff when you're blinded by the Patti.
