Paula "from my kitchen to yours" Deen?

"Celebrating a birthday this week: Rene Descartes is 412! Do you know who he is? Then why are you watching this show? You could probably get into college and even get one of those job things. As for the rest of us; Amanda Bynes is 22! Yay!"

Are we talking about "Son, what's your mother's favorite dessert? ... butter!" Paula Deen?

I don't know if there's any validity to this whatsoever, but I think she could do it. In fact, I'd pay to see her do it!

Some people come into our lives and quietly go, others stay a while, and leave footprints on our heart, and we are never the same.

Usually, when a singer or TV star is mentioned as a possible addition to a show, people line up to rant about STUNT CASTING!

Now, we have rumors of a COOK coming to Broadway and everyone is creaming?

Now I am hungry. But why would they need her if they have Dollys name attatched?

I wonder what part she'd play? Or maybe she'd run the concession stand?

I'm guessing the only other possible female parts in the show would be the alcoholic secretary or Roz, the boss's nosy personal assistant. I'm thinking that it is unlikely that someone as "lovable" as Paula would play the unlikable Roz. If anything, she'd be the secretary. And that's assuming they make her role bigger in the stage show, since she's in MAYBE 3 minutes of the movie.

C'mon...hasn't ANYONE seen 9 to 5? Or is this gonna be like Xanadu, with all these sudden fans?

I love me some Paula (and her son) but I think she's too old to play ANY of the parts.

And just because she talks like Dolly Parton doesn't mean she can pull off the role of the 'office floosie'.

The other small role from the movie is the boss' wife, and I think she'd be a good fit for that.

I could see the bosses wife having a few short songs....sorta like the mother from rent? (ps I have never seen rent so that may be wrong)
