The audience flight is always at the curtain call.

At the Palace Theatre in Cleveland, they were unable to do such a flight because the theatre is historic, and they were not permitted to alter the structure to set-up their rigging.

"The Spectacle has, indeed, an emotional attraction of its own, but, of all the parts, it is the least artistic, and connected least with the art of poetry. For the power of Tragedy, we may be sure, is felt even apart from representation and actors. Besides, the production of spectacular effects depends more on the art of the stage machinist than on that of the poet."

Hey Pati! Have fun with the little ones! I'm sure they'll love it! Can't wait to read your review. It'll be interesting to see how Howard evolved into his role, since I saw one of his earlier performances as Capt. Hook. :)

broadwaybaby81 - I thought the exact same thing. In my review from the first preview, there were several bloopers which involved him.

Can't wait to see how he developed.

Also can't wait to see the new Tiger Lily, Michael, and ensemble members.

I just spoke with a friend of mine who saw the show last night in Philly and she said there is an audience flight. She flies way out almost to the balcony under the big chandelier. She said it looked awsome.

Capt, do you still update Paul's site? Is he going to post this flight? And wasn't he a partner/co-founder of ZFX? Didn't think he was just an employee.

The flight took place...the pixie dust flew and it was an impressive climax to a simply delightful production. All of the flying was extremely well done! The audience was floored by this one...and I was pleasantly surprised too.

Roz, Howard was a loveable scoundrel! I will write up my review asap. Dont' wait, Philly folks. It's only here until Sun. 3/27.

So glad I brought little ones...They were in awe!

It plays at the Academy of Music. http://www.kimmelcenter.org/broadway

The Academy of Music is the exact same place I saw PETER PAN with Sandy Duncan, back in the early 80's. And she flew out over the audience back then, as well.

The new Tiger Lily was great. Capn, do you know if she has recovered from her fall that I told you about?

The Philly audience flight will be added tomorrow from three different perspectives.

The Tiger Lily replacement is recovering and is expected to return soon. The swing has been covering for her.

Good to hear. The night I was watching from backstage was the swing's first performance. Pre-show was extremely hectic for the wardrobe department.

Wow Capn nice video of the audience flights. I think Philly is the best one on his site.

Bdway11, How'd you get back stage to watch the show?

Am I the only one who does not like Peter Pan? I really did want to like the show, but when I saw the tour last month, I thought it was just boring. The only good thing about it to me was Howard. Other than that, I felt like I wasted my Saturday afternoon.

I saw the marquis in boston a few days ago, and now I wanna go back to Boston to see it before it (hopefully) hits broadway. Could it fill the Hirschfeld?

Can't do the Hirschfeld. It's not a Nederlander Theatre.
