Bobby Steggert and Ashley Brown. As Peter and Mary Jane, respectively. Or, on second thought, as Mary Jane and Peter, respectively. That's a Spider Man musical I'd go see!
It's kind of difficult to cast a show when you don't even know what style of music they plan to compose with. Once that becomes known, it will be much easier to decipher who will work.

Kristin.
This project is at least 2 or 3 seasons away. Who knows who will be on the scene then.

Peter - Ernie Sabella
Mary Jane - Carol Channing
I wonder what villains they'll use. My guess is the Hobgoblin or the Green Goblin.
I heard that I was going to be Mary Jane. At least I think that's what I heard.
NO KRISTEN. NO TINA MADIGAN. NO CHRISTINE EBERSOLE. How about someone new for once?

I would cast Jonathan Groff and Kristen Bell.
Oh darn, and I was just about to suggest Christine Ebersole. She'd be perfect for the role of an 18 year old! Maybe Brian Stokes Mitchell can play Peter Parker then.
(Yankeefan, I thought the same thing when I saw this thread title)
Well Eden Espinosa did play Marry Jane in the musical version at Universal Studious Hollywood. In fact...right after that she went to Broadway...

Ya think? I agree that it should be someone unknown for both parts, no matter how many years it takes to get on its feet.
Michael Arden for Peter and I think Kristen Bell would be great as Mary Jane.
or meeeee.
I saw the breakdown...but when is the audition?
I mean we don't know what the music is going to be like, but as far as the character of Peter Parker in itself, I think Barrett Foa would be good.
jon groff would be adorable.
Please, nobody from Spring Awakening.
I don't care how hot and talented they all are. Get some originality, people.
How about Michael Arden & Jenni Barber?

I hope you were trying to be funny with those two statements...though Arden does have that Toby Seabiscuit thing going on.
Oh, and to Yankee: "...you crumple me like cellophane..."

definitly Michael Arden as Peter. Though I wish he'd get himself into a hit show and I dunno about Spider Man...
well they are looking for a "rock" voice and if you saw
THE TIMES....
Arden certainly has that.
And after his Sitcom is a "hit" on FOX (we hope)
He will also be a draw.
I think Lea Michelle is also a good choice.

Although this is a while away, Kate Wetherhead would be an AMAZING Mary Jane.
...you stir me up like beef chow mein.
I agree Kristin Bell, even though I don't want her to do Broadway just now. In my perfect little world, Veronica Mars will run forever and never go off the air. I'm in a bit of denial.
I want to play the James Franco role, the friend who goes nutty because he thinks Peter killed his father, who had become the Green Goblin (because God knows no one would cast ME as Peter... or would they?? any takers???!!? LOL)
That role should go to John Gallagher Jr
he has the voice for it
