Posted: 5/5/11 at 9:43pmThis was a wonderfully crafted production and would be great in a small Broadway house. I hope this happens.

Posted: 5/5/11 at 9:52pmI can't help myself not to get excited about this. There isn't a show more deserving of a Broadway audience. Please, please, please. Peter and the Starcatcher has so much joy to give.

The Booth would be an incredible house for this! And if they got some [more] famous people in the show it would do amazingly well.
I take that back, I think it'll do really well as it is with all the families and such visiting NYC and Bway every week now. Lets all cross our fingers.

Which is the catch - There are songs ( I think I found 3) which would not qualify it as a musical, I think The Tony committee would have to rule. But there is additional music which helps w all the imaginative effects. so it's more than a play.
To quote a musical w/out any disension:
IS A PUZZLEMENT!~

Circle in the Square is the first house I thought of. I'd actually LOVE to see it done there, but I'm not sure how they would do the whole jungle bit with the leaves.

From what I've read, heard, and seen, it is very well deserved. I am very excited, because maybe this means I'll get to see it now!! :) The Booth seems to be the best place for it.
I wonder if they would make it "Disney's Peter and the Starcatcher", just to bring more people in?

I would love this: mostly because while it was on my list to see, it never quite managaed to get to the top. I rather convinced myself it would keep extending. And, naturally, now I am kicking myself!
Please?

Posted: 5/7/11 at 9:36amAs much as I would LOVE to see this happen, I'm afraid that if it transfers it will ruin it's run. I see it as being incredibly successful off-bway, but I'd hate to see a beautiful show get shuved under the rug like BBAJ did

@ohtossums2, I'm glad someone said that! my thoughts exactly.
I loved it. I adored it. But it would be hard for the show being successful on broadway...
its much smarter than what broadway has been lately... I put it in the same category of BBAJ. Or Scottsboro boys.
