Approximately where have the TDF seats been for Phantom lately? TDF says they may be rear mez. Are they usually that far back? What have your experiences been?
It changes depending on whats available, but if you have the choice between rear orchestra and rear mezz, take the rear mezz.
it might seem further back but you get to see the 'whole' show from back there

I had Row B in the orchestra. It was 4th row to the side. Amazing seat.

I went a few weeks ago. Middle orchestra, on the right side (three seats together).

Anyone been recently? I have tickets for this Saturday's matinee, curious what to expect.

And if you're really, REALLY lucky, they'll give you a seat in a theatre that's not playing Phantom x

I was in front mezz on the far left side when I saw the show through TDF earlier this summer. Really great view.

Ended up with third row orchestra left! Missed a handful of things due to the angle, but it was well worth it to see so much else up close.
I got them this past Thursday afternoon. I got Orchestra R 13, but moved down to Q on the left side where there was a ton of leg room. Theatre was less than 3/4 full.

Do you have to join Todd to get these tix? How much are they? Going to NY this weekend and have a 12 year old who is Phantom-obsessed, but I’ve seen it several times so don’t want to spend a lot on tix.

You can go to tdf.org for the details, but there are certain qualification requirements. I was able to join because I'm a government employee, for example. And then there's a $35 annual fee (when I joined this past winter there was also the option of getting a "national membership" for $12 if you live more than 100 miles from NYC, but I can't seem to find that option anymore...). Once you join, only certain showings of certain shows are available. Phantom is usually up, but only for matinees. Tickets are $50 for Broadway musicals.
If you don't qualify or you don't think it's worth it, try broadwaybox.com for discount advance tickets, or visit TKTS on the day (it's pretty much always up for 50% off).
Enjoy! Ben Crawford is an awesome Phantom.

Just bumping this thread to see if anyone has any ideas as to where recent TDF seats have been for Phantom. I've been wanting to make a return visit since it reopened in the fall.
Thanks!
I posted in the TDF thread that for a Thurs Mat in May I was given Orch Row D Center. I was a single seat.

The lottery is only $40 and probably not that hard to win - I entered once this spring and won, and got front row.
Last time I went before that I used TDF and got Orchestra Row R. Not a bad seat but probably the worst Phantom seat I've gotten with TDF since they're usually amazing. This was Emilie Kouatchou's first performance so it might have been selling better than usual.
Those are the only two trips I've made since reopening but before that I usually got Orchestra Row A-F.

In Feb I bought three seats and got right orchestra row H, great seats, but just barely full view.
