I'm a little disturbed that Harvey Fierstein's hand was in John Tartaglia's paints, but I guess Tony Award winners are allowed to take advantage of chorus boys, like that. Hal looks ridiculous as always, but Chris, John Tartaglia and especially John Cameron Mitchell all look amazing.

The major error is...Harvey Firestein is NOT the only person in history to win four Tony Awards in four different categories! Tommy Tune won Best Featured Actor in SEESAW, Director in NINE, Best Actor in MY ONE AND ONLY, and Choreographer in GRAND HOTEL.

Just wanted to give Tommy his due.

I think of any of the QAF boys, Hal Sparks is the LEAST deserving. Example from an appearance on the tonight show: "Watching two guys kiss is like watching two dogs kiss."

I also agree that Hal Sparks is a poor choice for an award. That "gang sign" is actually, I believe, a sexual gesture - three fingers each titillating an orifice in the woman's netheregions. It's a somewhat offensive gesture to make.

But yeah, John Tartaglia rocks!

Yeah, the hand gesture is called "The Shocker" where I live. There's a little rhyme that goes with it:

Two in the pink
One in the stink

It's kinda gross when you think about it.
