As per the Hairspray website:

On September 6, the new tour cast members are:

Amber - Tara Macri (from the Toronto cast)
Link - Aaron Tveit
Penny - Caissie Levy
Inez - Naturi Naughton
Shelley - Amy Hillner
Tracy standby - Christine Danelson

The new Edna and Wilbur are J.P. Dougherty (who filled in for John for a few months this summer and was Harvey's understudy) and Jim J. Bullock (who's was recently playing Mr. Pinky on Broadway)

when i saw the tour in Los Angeles it was a little girl playing Little Inez... then a year later i saw it with an older (but younger) woman playin INez... it looked REALLY odd... but meh... whatever

The tour "Inez" is a little girl, but when she is unavialable (sickness etc.) the role is sometimes played by an adult. This only occurs in rare emergency situations.

no actually the girl who plays Inez on tour is an adult. it cost too much money to have a child on tour. i saw the tour sunday. in run and tell that seaweed introduces her as " my little sister, Inez" where on Broadway they say " my little sister, Lil Inez"

Aw! I loved him as Edna. Really, really funny. Not gto mention all the other things he's done, or written for.

I got to see Hairspray the week that Marissa was back back in July. I loved Bruce in it. His ad-libs were classic. He is one strange looking man and an even stranger looking woman.
