Oh good god, the photo stills of the original movie are incredible. I almost want to drop everything and go watch it now.

The photos from the original are amazing. I do not think this will be a High School Musical because not only is the story in general more gritty and untouchable, the score is amazing and the movie won't be cliched or overly polished and one dimensional like High School Musical. It will always have that groundbreaking material and their cast consists of not only very talented newcomers but veterans of screen and stage.

you haven't heard the score to Fame, the chances are it will be a new score with probably just the title song in the film.

The original story was very gritty but the era (80s) in NY was what made the film gritty, the poverty and the dangers of the big city. This is not set in the 80s its set now, NY is not the same and the world of performing arts schools are not the same.
