I have never seen any, and would love to know how the set looked! Does anyone have any pics, or could they describe it?
Check out Sam Harris on the site that must not be named. He may have some.
Incidentally, last month I scanned tons and tons of photos from the souvenir program of the original 1994 Broadway cast (which included Rosie O'Donnell and pre-WILL & GRACE Megan Mullally) for a pal's niece. I'll post them later when I get home.

Man, did I want to see this revival. I can actually remember exactly how I found out about it. I was watching the soap opera Another World where Ricky Paull Goldin played singer Dean Frame. There was a commercial of Ricky Paull and Rosie were talking about it. I was, probably, 14 or 15. Back then I liked Ricky Paull a lot lol
I never got to see this, but I LOVE the design of this production. It's so much fun, and not concerned with being squeaky-clean like the most recent revival.

Wasn't this the revival where"Mooning" actually took place?
"Mooning" took place in the original 1972 Broadway production AND Hunter Foster (as Roger) did the honors of exposing his tush in this 1994 Broadway revival.
The original 1972 Broadway production was actually quite raw, crassy, vulgar and used more profanity. It wasn't as cleaned-up/wholesome as the heavily rewritten 1978 film adaptation.
Thanks so much for the pics Brody! Billy Porter looks fab!
Did Jennifer Holliday wear the same costume when she played the Teen Angel? And those who saw her...how was she?

It's funny I stumble on this thread today. I just watched a video of Billy Porter singing an extremely abridged version of his jaw-dropping "Beauty School Dropout" on The Tonight Show w/ Leno. FLAWLESS!
