Pictures from the stage

Is there somewhere I can find pictures taken from on stage; aka: looking into the audience. From various Broadway theatres? Like this one of the Gerswhin? I'm especialy interested in the Eugene O'Neill Theatre. Thanks!

re: Pictures from the stage

Actually just because this was brought up, I have tried taking pictures from a couple of stages in theatres looking out into the audience...Eugene O'Neill being one of them. For some reason, everytime I tried, the picture never came out--it was always way too dark.

Eponine, I love your avatar. I haven't seen a picture, but I would absolutely love one as well. If you find one let me know.

Many of the pictures found on the Shubert Site can also a be found in a very interesting coffee table book about the different theatres owned by The Shuberts.

I've been on the stage of the Gershwin 2 times, one when Michelle F. led me around on a tour she gave me and my friend. The other time was when my dad knew the security guy. I took pictures from the audience, but don't know how to scan them onto my pc

re: Pictures from the stage

Michael Cavanaugh brought me on stage and I took a few photos of the Richard Rogers but I don't think they turned out too well. And I also have the New Amsterdam. That's all.

Maaaany good memories backstage at that theatre.... hell, at that theatre in general. So I totally understand your warm fuzzies! lol

No turning back, you must accept the con is done... It was a ball, it was a blast. And it's a shame it couldn't last. But every chapter has to end, you must agree.

re: Pictures from the stage

I have an AWESOME picture (the lighting, the setting, the presence of it all) of me striking a pose on the center of the stage of the Pantages, lights on, with no one around, and you can see a fantastic shot of the actual theatre. I shall find. re: Pictures from the stage

Tim, the pictures you posted of that theatre in Auckland remind me so much of The Fabulous Fox Theatre in Atlanta (where I grew up). I wonder if they were designed by the same person, or if one was fashioned after the other.
