does anyone have pictures of any of the Spider Womans??? by the way...Who else played that role besides Chita rivera,Vanessa Williams and Maria Conchita Alonso????

Elaine Paige trying to pull of the sexiness and attraction of death? Now that'd be funny. Can she dance? I mean, I really don't like her, and this is not a role that she should even try to touch..
I loved the pics, thanks. Is it me or Maria Conchita Alonso looks like a big slut in this role? Well, she is, but still she looks it too.

Was Neuwirth herself a replacement? I know Chita Rivera originated the role in London. Maybe Neuwirth was in another company. I wished they had released an album with her performance instead of Vanessa Williams.

I believe it went from Canada, to London then Broadway - Chita followed all of them up with a national tour that was one of the best - it looked as good if not better than on Broadway and/or London.

In Vienna Yamil Borges played the role. She was in the Chorus Line movie.

Is anyone else dying for this show to be revived or go on tour? I never got to see it the first time around because I was very young.

Chita originated the role in the London production, and as far as I know, Bebe replaced her when Chita moved on to Broadway.

I think Bebe was the last actress in the title role in London, because the show had a very short run in London's Shaftesbury Theatre - less than a year. It opened in Oct 1992 and closed in July 1993.

Caroline O'Connor was offered the role after Chita in London, but turned it down, hence how Bebe ended up doing it.

Still one of my all time favorite shows.

Well I didn't want to get into it, but he's a Satanist. Every full moon he sacrifices 4 puppies to the Dark Lord and smears their blood on his paino. This should help you understand the score for Wicked a little bit more. Tazber's: Reply to Is Stephen Schwartz a Practicing Christian

There was one great one of Chita that was printed in the LA Times years ago from the opening scene with Chita singing while sitting in a chair with her pink outfit on. I wrote the LA times and asked how I could get a copy. I ended up being transferred to the photographer himself and he sent me a copy, color and beautiful, free of charge. I later had Chita sign it for me and its one of my favorite pictures ever!
