Sorry if this has been asked... I searched but couldn't find anything.
Is there a rush policy yet? If not, I'll just march up to the box office and ask for the best seat.... but rush would be ideal.

PIRATE QUEEN Rush Policy: 2 tickets per valid ID when the box office opens, $31.25 a piece. Probably front row.

Or, if you want to pay less, bring the discount code mentioned in this thread to the box office for $25 tickets:

Posted: 3/18/07 at 10:41pmHas anyone gotten rush tickets for this yet? What time should I get to the box office on Saturday to ensure that I can get two rush tickets for the evening show? Will 9am be good enough? Do they sell rush tickets for matinee and evening performances at 10am? Thanks!

Posted: 3/18/07 at 10:42pmDo you mean the rush for tickets or the rush to leave the Hilton after the first 10 minutes?

B3TA07-
Do you ever have anything productive to say, or do you just like to take cheap shots at shows you've decided aren't worthy? I know you are a "student, bad ass, composer" and all, but why don't you try to make yourself a bit more useful and come up with some intelligent remarks. I don't care if you like or dislike this or any other show, but have something interesting to say or don't say it at all. Please.
Being a "bad ass composer" I would think you might have a little compassion for fellow artists whether you appreciate their work or not. Karma is a bitch.

Posted: 3/18/07 at 11:03pmI rushed Pirate Queen for Saturday's Matinee and got two tickets in the 7th row center orchestra. They were $31.25 and they didn't even ask to see a student ID. We got there about 10:30AM. Hope this helps??

I had a feeling PROM was still something that might be on your agenda. That, and the highs and lows of who was cast in this years school play, right?
Not to be rude, but you do know I'm a woman, right?

I'm not in theatre at my school, so I could care less about the casting of plays. I do however have some very good friends in the One-Act production of Dancing at Lughnesa (which I don't even think I spelled right, heh).
Not to be rude, but as a Pirate Queenie, are you really "Just Woman?"

Are you sure? I thought I'd check out your myspace to see if I could learn anything interesting about you, other than the personal insights you reveal in your thorough posts here on BWW. Your public blog was quite intriguing.
It would seem you care a great deal about who gets cast in your school play.
I QUOTE (with the swear words altered for the sake of keeping this PG)
STOP IT.
JUST. FUxxING. STOP IT.
Wether you like her or not she got cast for a reason. The directors believe in her and it's pathetic that all you can do is sit around backstage talking about how much you dislike her for being cast and not supporting her. She's a good friend and it really hurts me that other people I also consider good friends would be so goddaxned petty and immature. And try to remember that she didn't know the damned show before auditions. HEY, GUESS WHAT?! SHE DIDN'T HAVE A CD OF SOMEONE ELSE'S INTERPRETATION AND PERFORMANCE OF THE CHARACTER TO IMITATE! SHE DID IT ALL ON HER OWN AND SHE GOT CAST! HOW DO YOU LIKE THAT?!
I know you're still mad you didn't get what you want. But just remind me, WEREN'T YOU IN INTO THE WOODS? DO YOU NOT FUCxING GET ALL THE ALLEGORIES AND MESSAGES ABOUT SELFISHNESS AND COMMUNITY?! ARE YOU SO MUCH OF A BITCH THAT YOU CAN'T SEE THAT? HAS YOUR MOTHERFUxxING JEALOUSY MADE YOU BLIND?! I really can't believe you sometimes. You just need to accept that you didn't get what you wanted. And you know what if you really cared THAT MUCH about this Les Mis being good, you wouldn't be bitching about her not being up to your standards and how you should be this and that and THEN the show would be amazing. You would offer to help her and make her better. She doesn't have the tools you have and you're too busy being completely shallow to bother to offer any advice or help. Or maybe you don't want her to get better because if she does you'll have no chance of replacing her if she gets cut. How sad for you. Honestly, I really wish you didn't exist right now. I probably couldn't even stand to look at you or talk to you right now.
Okay, I'm done.

Has anyone showed up later than 10:30 am for the rush tickets and still been able to get them?
I was considering driving to NY from DC this weekend and was hoping to get rush tickets for PQ but need to know what the latest time I can get there is and still be able to get student rush.
Thanks.

Your post if fine and a valid question. The majority on this thread are speaking about B3TA07 (He's a chef that like's (correction likes) to stir up things)

Posted: 3/20/07 at 11:02pmB3TA07 - Goodness knows that there are a lot of people on here who try and stir things up. I'm not going to pick on you for making snide remarks, but I do have to say that you confuse me. I know it's easy to be a sheep and follow the crowd sometimes, but the differences between how you post on here and how you post on the PQ boards make it a little difficult for those of us who read both to figure you out.
