Stephanie J. Block, who stars in the title role of the new Broadway musical The Pirate Queen, will sit down for a chat with host Seth Rudetsky at the May 24 edition of Seth's Broadway Chatterbox.

she did another interview with him on the sirius satellite radio show a few weeks ago. it was pretty interesting

sondheimfan-I heard that...it was really great. She sang Woman, as well as bits of Part of Your World, I dreamed a Dream and Cornet Man...she is amazing.

"Seth chats with leading actress, Stephanie J. Block currently starring as Grace O'Malley in Broadway's The Pirate Queen. Beginning with plenty of stage experience in Southern California, Block was "the first Elphaba" in the workshops and readings of Wicked before making her Broadway debut opposite Hugh Jackman in The Boy From Oz. Block finally wore the green make-up when she starred as Elphaba in the first national tour of Wicked(where we learn more about her fateful "flying accident"). In this brief interview with Seth, we learn more about her theatrical training and she sings a song from The Pirate Queen.

The new episode airs Monday, 06/11 at 7pm EST, Wednesday, 06/13 at 10pm EST, and Sunday 06/17 at 12pm EST. "
