basically everything that SA won...not that i hate it or anything, i just don't like the fact that tony judges feel obligated for shows that are "new" or "different" to win EVERYTHING. i was also dissapointed that raul didn't win. although i'm obsessed with david hyde pierce, i think that raul not only had a better character to play, but also played it better than pierce. not to mention the vocal differences.

i'm currently obsessed with "introduction to the audience" from the frogs. of course the vocals are nothing special but the lyrics are HYSTERICAL. especially if you see the '04 cast with nathan lane instead of the original. and literally anything from les miz i will NEVER get sick of.

theres a group on 44th and broadway with les miz, phantom spamalot and producers (soon to be young frankenstein), grey gardens (walter kerr) is on 48th and broadway but the marriot marquis (drowsy chaperone) is probably the most noticeable and has an entrance facing times square. Fantasticks is considered off broadway, but its address is actually on broadway and like 51st

istillbeleive, i saw marissa mcgowan as eponine and lea salonga as fantine ( honestly, i was just glad it wasn't daphne ruben vega) i didn't know that she was the voice for those disney movies! i'm pretty sure my friends will be more obsessed now..
re: Ever went to a show to see a specific actor...
saw understudies of elphaba and glinda on wicked tour in october '05 i was disappointed before the show started, but they turned out to be pretty good. at least i didn't miss idina and kristin. wanted to see tom wopat in annie get your gun in '99, not there. didn't really matter though since bernadette peters outshone the entire cast. thought i wasn't going to see christine ebersole in grey gardens since it was a matinee, she was there though, and absolutely amazing

a theatre in houston in doing a world premeire of treasure island (a play) starting in a couple weeks. i don't think that its the same one though?
