this is the company that was bringing us great shows like Ana Gastayer in Funny Girl two or three years ago. Now they're doing Beauty, Bombay and THIS.

We are getting it here in Boston too.. well NSMT is doing it just north of here. This show will do very well for any company doing it. As much as I wish they were NOT doing it... at least it is new. Would rather sit through High School Musical 100x than see 1776 a second time at Lyric. What a piece of crap that production was.. and in general it is a weak musical.. it is more like a play with music... and boring at that... the mark of a good score is if you can sing at least one song around a piano with a bunch of show queens! LOL.. 1776 fails that test!!!
