Does anyone have recommendations? I'm looking for a really good play with a leading role for a boy, 10-12 years old. Also, another with a 10-12 year old girl as the lead. Thanks for your help!
That's not a lot to go on.
What are the ages of the other actors? How big a cast? Comedy or Drama? Full length or one Act?
And I daresay, the pickins will likely be slim.

It runs about 70 - 80 minutes. Lots of roles for youths.

Lost in Yonkers for the boy. (If you have another boy to play his brother, too.)
The Miracle Worker for the girl would be a great choice. Or, The Member of the Wedding.
You could put both of them in To Kill a Mockingbird (I'm not sure if there's a licensed stage version but there might be).

There is a stage version of To Kill a Mockingbird -

Sorry to be so vague. Full length is best. Yonkers and Miracle Worker are great ideas, thanks. To Kill a Mockingbird sounds great. There can be other kids, and adult cast members will be available too.
