just curious: do you use the Playbill books or do you keep them in a box?

I haven't seen half of those shows!

I didn't buy any either.

I got the majority of them from a friend who passed away, and in his will gave me those playbills.

Yes you are one lucky man. What is the best way to store playbills besides buying the Playbill binders? Any suggestions..like a regular binder or something...

I put my unsigned Playbills inside top loaders and then all of them inside a binder. Works fine and they're easily accessible.

All of my signed Playbills are or are in the midst of being framed and up on my wall. They look pretty cool, if I do say so myself. re: Playbill Index Updated On: 9/4/06 at 08:40 PM

I could never sell my playbills.

BTW-I'm a fan of the playbill binders. I put NYC playbills in them only...all others go into a box, and if they are signed, they are put into a plastic sleave.

I frame the ones from shows I really really loved. Shows I didn't care for very much I just keep in a box.

Any specific type of cool/funky box? A shoe box? It just seems so wrong to put it in a shoe box...

No no no! Never a shoebox! It's a funky box I got from The Christmas Tree Shop. They're in good care.

I wish they still sold books for the older playbills.

I also wish they made a book with every Playbill ever made - with a little picture and a brief thing of the show. Though that would be tough - especially since there are so many limited and special engagements, dating WAY back.

But still, I could dream.

I have many shoe boxes filled.

And all my programs are in order of the performance I saw and in a plastic bag.
