Why are people so set on price? This I can’t go lower statement i don’t understand. When I had to sell Les Mis tickets I was happy to offer them for half price of what I paid. Why are more people not willing to do this when others could enjoy the show, rather than the seller losing the money and the ticket?
Forgive my ranting, but I just don’t understand why some sellers are so stingy with lowering the price from what they paid.

Some people can afford to go lower-some can’t. It’s really none of anyones business except the person selling the ticket :) Someone who can afford to pay the asking price will also be able to enjoy the show. It’s not a “go lower or someone won’t be able to enjoy the show” deal-that’s ridiculous.
The op is right...its none of your business. No one is entitled to a "deal" because someone's circumstances have changed.

Maybe because they want what they originally paid and invested in the ticket...? Also, echoing the none of your business sentiment.
Agreed it’s not my business, but I just hope the majority of these resold tickets get sold and can be used. I would hate for a seat to go empty because someone can’t lower a price.

**The price of which is none of your business, as you appear to understand now. I don’t want the seat to go empty which is why I’m asking here. Also, this is lower than what I paid, just FYI
Good luck selling your tickets. Have a good night all!
