Post Date tickets from TDF?

Does anyone have any experience in obtaining post dated tickets that were originally TDF tickets?  I had seats to American Psycho 2 weekends ago, but I had an emergency and was not able to make it to the performance. Has anyone had any luck with getting post dated tickets for American Psycho?   

 

Once I missed a performance of ROCKY due to a snow storm and I had tdf seats for that one as well. The the box office would NEVER post date my tickets. Even when the show was selling horribly and it was on tdf for every date. The box office always said NO.  

 

What is my best option?

Don't bother calling or emailing them because they never respond.

The only time I've tried it, I had success via the box office over the phone. There was bad weather on a Sunday I was originally supposed to see The Last Ship and I was able to post date my TDF ticket for the following Wednesday.

I would call Telecharge, they should be able to tell you what the deal is with past dating. I've past dated TDF tickets successfully before, though it was a few years ago.

I had a TDF ticket for The Father a couple of weeks ago. Frank Langella was out. A rep from Manhattan Theatre Club gave us TDF folks a slip with a Telecharge number on it to call. She said Past Date only-no refunds. The rep at Telecharge was very helpful. He said to try calling on Tues-Thursday when I wanted to go. Weekends were out, he said, but you could try calling then anyway. I first tried on a Sun and was turned down. My second calling on a Wed mat was greeted with a yes and I went then.  Can't say for American Psycho. Now that it has announced its closing, it might be tougher to Past Date. Just keep trying.

When Hand to God was open, I went to the box office to ask how to go about post dating my TDF ticket, and they did it for me there.
