I didn't see a thread..but sorry if there is one.
Did anyone go to MEMPHIS' first performance after their win? It must have seem inspired/the audience must have been wild? (i.e. share experiences pls :P)
What about CZJ's Tony...was she hyped? How was her head movements.
RED? etc.. etc..
When my goodbye post was removed: “but I had a great dramatic finish!!!!”

I went to Memphis' first post-Tony performance. The show was electric! You could hear the cast having a little celebration backstage before curtain. Then before the show started, there was an announcement, like "Welcome to the Tony winning musical Memphis" or something and the audience went wild.
Great energy from the whole cast as well as the audience throughout the show as well. Long entrance applause for Montego Glover, extra cheers during Radio,... and an immediate standing ovation at the end, with practically everyone singing along to the reprise of Steal Your Rock 'N' Roll. Very cool. And the stagedoor was a madhouse, but thrilling to be there!
Curious about the other winners too, especially La Cage... Anyone?
