I am planning my next trip to New York and the next shops I hope to catch.
To maximize my shows I was planning on seeing the 10pm Hedwig show on Saturday night, any suggestions what I could see before this, I thought of seeing After Midnight, but not keen on that show, so any planned shows that have a 90-100 minute run time?
Also The Phantom of the Opera, Mamma Mia and Cinderella are doing Thursday matinees any other shows doing a Thursday matinee?
Also what shows are playing a Sunday/Monday night?
Thanks in advance.
BRONX BOMBERS and MOTHERS AND SONS would be options before HEDWIG. I'm not positive, but VIOLET may also be a one act.
Not Bronx Bombers, no - official run time is 1 hr 50, and it ran longer when I saw it. And Violet is 2 acts.
yes, Violet is a one act.
VERY few shows play Sunday night or Monday. See the link below.
Show Schedule -- scroll down a bit
Ah, just saw the article about it being retooled to a one act for Bway...dang!
I loved it at City Center. Or wait, I guess it was one act there too?

Correct me if I'm wrong but I think shows that are still in previews do Monday night shows but nothing on Sundays.
abbagirl,
Violet was two acts at City Center, but the new revival has been trimmed to just one act.

ROCKY will be be doing "some" Monday evenings while in previews but it will switch to a Tuesday-Sunday schedule once the show officially opens and its running time is 2 hours and 40 minutes.

The Velocity of Autumn is a one act. Never saw it before, though, so can't recommend it...
Velocity of Autumn was about 90 minutes, one act. It was an alright show and Estelle Parsons gives a great performance. There are better things to be seen though.
I'm trying to plan something like this too. I just saw that Telecharge lists The Realistic Joneses as 90 minutes. Can anyone who saw this out of town confirm or deny it?
