We're in New York from the UK from 13 to 19 April. We're seeing Next to Normal on the Saturday. I know the CD is not due to be available until early May, but is there any chance that you may have it to mail before then? We have a NY address you can use to mail.


PS If the recording quality and presentation is as good as In The Heights it should be great!

I wish there was an option like "I'm pre-ordering but want to pay now" rather than pre-order and try to guess when the charge will hit. Is there any way to do that?

abitoftap: I'm not sure when the physical CDs will be ready (it is up to the manufacturer at this point), so I'm not positive you'd be able to get one before your trip. It will be on iTunes April 7th if you want to catch up on the music beforehand. If you'd like, you can send me an e-mail when you are here to ask if the CDs are in yet. [e-mail] Shipping to a NYC address usually takes just 1 day.

That's what I thought happened with the orders... I wonder why JordanGirl's is different.

Ugh, lame. I want to get the hard copy so I can get whatever linernotes thing there may be but I don't wanna have to wait til may to get a recording that will be available in 2 weeks.

I believe iTunes will have a digital booklet with all the lyrics and director's note etc. (Though I know that some people like to hold a real booklet.) We'll definitely have CDs in before May, just not at the same time as Digital - sorry!


Also - wow April 7th is in two weeks! What happened to March?

I know, exactly, march has flown by. Don't forget to do your taxes if you haven't yet (i did it online yesterday, i'm getting 1,000 bucks back).


and if you say you guys will have the CD before may I suppose I could pre-order it, it is priced really well, especially for a 2 disc.

Ooh - it looks like the Digital Booklet will have full page posters of the cast! You can hang Alice Ripley next to your bed (read: Aaron Tveit)

^Last week all they had at the theater was a shirt, window card, and pre-order form. Maybe they'll get Alice's CD around opening time.

Also, the pre-order at the theater is $25, and the physical copies will be $35.
