This sounds right up my alley... I know she's not quite the name that Jodie Comer is. Still a chance of it transferring?

I feel like she’s a comparable name, honestly. She’s got a Golden Globe and an Emmy (Oscar nom, too). If the production / performance generates as much buzz as PRIMA FACIE, I could see it transferring to New York eventually.

I would argue that she is a bigger name than Jodie Comer was before Prima Facie. Oscar nom, Golden Globe, lots of movies with a decent number of lead roles.

Reeeaallly strong reviews, an Olivier Award, etc could go a long way for this. I don’t think there’s a huge difference between Pike and Comer as far as name value goes, but it may be easier to sell a show on “exciting newcomer making a tour de force stage debut” as opposed to “seasoned British actress plays a great role.”

Regardless, hope we see it stateside because I love Pike!

Rosamund Pike should have played Norma Desmond and then we actually would have had a great performance instead of Nicole and all her mugging and noxious schtick.
