I just saw the announcement that Nancy Opel is going to star in "Curvy Widow" for an open ended run at the Westside this summer, opening on August 3.

August 3 is also the first preview for POB, and she was announced as part of that cast.

Anyone know whats going on there - is she out of Prince of Bway?

I know it opens this fall, but someone said that Ramin is leaving Anastasia in January, wonder he's going to join the show late?

No idea. I know Linda Lavin was attached for a long time. I'd love to see her back on board.

Opel would be stupid to continue with Curvy Widow. It's one of the worst shows I've ever seen, and it will be pilloried in New York. I'm sure Bobby Goldman is pumping a lot of her own money into this dreadful vanity project, but that can only last so long.

"You travel alone because other people are only there to remind you how much that hook hurts that we all bit down on. Wait for that one day we can bite free and get back out there in space where we belong, sail back over water, over skies, into space, the hook finally out of our mouths and we wander back out there in space spawning to other planets never to return hurrah to earth and we'll look back and can't even see these lives here anymore. Only the taste of blood to remind us we ever existed. The earth is small. We're gone. We're dead. We're safe." -John Guare, Landscape of the Body
