Up from DC to see "Tootsie" today, just a quick trip. In several week, I'll be up long enough to see four shows. Already have a ticket to Hadestown, So here's a list of 2018-19 shows I haven't yet seen but would like to. How would you prioritize them?

Ink

What the Constitution Means to Me

Ain't Too Proud: ”The Life and Times of the Temptations

Hillary and Clinton

Burn This

Not necessarily in that order. I can’t rank the others. Share your thoughts on tootsie and hadestown after you see them. I’m seeing Tootsie next week.

Ive heard great things about What the Constitution Means to Me.

If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it? These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.

Ink doesn’t start till Tuesday, but I would put Constitution at the top of this list; Ain’t Too Proud at the bottom. Enjoy Tootsie!
Marie: Don't be in such a hurry about that pretty little chippy in Frisco. Tony: Eh, she's a no chip!

Thanks, Whizzer. I ended up buying tickets at the box offices this afternoon for Constitution and Ink for several Saturdays from now. In planning my trips, I rarely have enough certainty about when I'm coming up next to buy tickets while I'm here. But it's such a relief to avoid the criminally high fees online. Even better, had discount codes for both. Long ago I occasionally had box office staff sneer at those, mainly claiming that the code itself wasn't enough if I didn't have a physical printout, but no such trouble today.

I decided to buy a ticket to Ain't Too Proud -- this is before I saw your reply -- but the line was practically out the door at the Imperial. I think I'd really enjoy the music even if I don't love the show overall, but I guess I'll keep thinking for now about the remaining slot I have open.

Yes, the service fees are such a rip off. I remember years back when some box office staff wanted to see a mailer or print out of a code too- those days are long gone.

Enjoy Constitution!

Whizzer... After seeing the fabulous Tootsie last night, a second round of it may fill that fourth slot on my next visit. It didn't quite swallow me whole the way some big, splashy musicals can, but it's highly entertaining. Turns out a friend of mine on the West Coast knows Santino and his family. Told her that's he's on his way from solid actor to star.
